OUR STORY
Alicia and Guillermo Rey founded Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant in Temple City, California, in March 1973. On August 15, 1981, their son Art Rey opened a second location in San Dimas, initially downtown on Bonita Avenue. In 1986, Art and Jeanette Rey moved the restaurant to its current location at 345 West Bonita Avenue, where it has been ever since.
Casa del Rey uses 100% cholesterol-free canola oil, with no lard in any items. All food is made to order using the freshest ingredients, including vegetarian and low-carb options. Our signature fresh tortilla chips and salsa are made daily.
The bartenders craft drinks with high-quality ingredients, offering a wide variety of premium tequilas for our renowned margaritas. These can be enjoyed blended or on the rocks, in various sizes, and with or without a salted rim.
Casa del Rey features a cozy, climate-controlled patio, a lively bar, and a comfortable dining room with ample seating.
A party menu is offered for special occasions; any menu item can be prepared for large orders
